Welcome to my personal home page. I am an emeritus professor of economics at the Sorbonne School of Economics and the Centre d'Economie de la Sorbonne. Both institutions belong to the University of Paris 1 (Panthéon-Sorbonne).

Professional experience

I have taught at the University of Paris 1 (Panthéon-Sorbonne) for almost 40 years. I have also been a research fellow at CEPREMAP for more than 40 years. I visited a lot of foreign universities and economic institutions in all parts of the world.

Fields of interest

I am mainly interested in all the fields of macroeconomics and all the methods used in this field. So, I did research in labor economics, taxation, open macroeconomics, and demography, and I used plenty of methods of modeling, simulations (deterministic and stochastic), and econometrics. I also have a strong interest in international trade, development economics, history, and mathematics.
